Centre of Contemporary Ceramics of La Borne

Catherine VanierCome and discover the Centre of Contemporary Ceramics of La Borne’s exhibition programme for 2017.
This year our 600 m2 gallery provides the setting for a selection of twelve ceramists and two joint exhibitions. We will be ending the year with our traditional joint exhibition of the work of the ceramists of La Borne, which is always keenly awaited by the public.

Come along and meet the invited artists who will be presenting their work before every private view.
Throughout the year the ceramists of the La Borne Ceramic Association will be showing their work in the space devoted to them. This glimpse of their work is certain to inspire you to head off and discover their workshops and studios throughout the village of La Borne.

Stage Maya MicenmacherEvents and Training
La Borne is an ideal place for discovering and learning how to work clay. In our large, spacious workshops you will find professional equipment. During break times you can come and look at our exhibitions and our bookshop area offering a wide range of books specializing in ceramics.
Our programme offers many different training events run by professional ceramists. Both children and adults can develop their creativity or just experience the pleasure of touching and modelling clay.
By visiting the village of La Borne and taking part in sessions demonstrating our craft, you can discover our pottery heritage. These offers are available to be booked by groups throughout the year. Some of the activities can be enjoyed at no charge during the European Art Trade Days and the European Heritage Days.
